Wildwood Forest School Covid19 Precautions for Fall 2020 Semester

SMALL CLASS SIZES

  •  We will maintain our small classes sizes. We limit our enrollment to 8 children for Seedlings classes and to 10 children for Wildlings classes. Two teachers are present at all times.

COMMUNITY EFFORT

We recommend that our Wildwood community continue to follow the guidance of local government officials regarding Covid-19.

*Staying open and healthy can only happen with full support of our community and compliance with our guidelines.

FULLY OUTDOORS

  • We will continue to offer our classes fully outdoors. Our classes are held in the fresh open air where transmission rates are much lower and with the added benefits of boosting immune systems. Read HERE for more.

 HEALTH SCREENING BEFORE EACH CLASS

We ask that the parents to keep in mind the following questions before dropping their child off:

  • Does your child have any of the following symptoms* that are not from another condition?

      *See symptoms list above.

  • Does anyone in your household have any of the above symptoms?

  • Has your child been in close contact with anyone with suspected or confirmed COVID-19?

  • Has your child had any medication to reduce a fever or symptoms before coming to school?

STAY HOME POLICY

We ask that parents check their children for the following symptoms each day before school and keep their child home if they have any symptoms. If students display symptoms of illness at school, they will be sent home.

  • Fever greater than 100.4 degrees

  • Cough, shortness of breath, or difficulty breathing

  • Chills or muscle aches

  • Sore throat

  • Can’t smell/loss of sense of taste

  • If exposed to someone who has tested positive for COVID-19 in the last two weeks
